Mon.1st Feb. 2 week work placement starts for both TY classes
Wed. 20th Jan. PAL - Public Access to Law for both classes. An all day module on the Constitution and the legal system.
Thurs. 14th Jan. 2nd Green Schools Group from TY2 starts in house green activities.
Tues. 24th Nov. Vehicle Training Unit 1 day driving related module for both classes.
Sun 22nd Nov. Departure of co-ordinator Mr. Bolger to Nice with last year's National TY Tourism Award winners.
Wed. 4th Nov KAS in Graiguecullen for TY2. Week 1 of 5
Mon. 19th Oct. Start of 1 week's work placement for both classes.
Mon. 5th Oct. Carlow Entreprise Board presentation on Mini Companies for both classes in the Playhall
Wed. 30th Sept. Drive for Life. A one day driving module for both classes.
Weds Sept 23rd: TY KAS 3, Graiguecullen Parish Centre.
TY "Stained Glass Craft" 8 week module begins today.
Tues 22nd Sept: TY2 Geography Field Trip, Glendalough.
Mon 21st Sept: In conjunction with Carlow Enterprise Board - TY1 & TY2 - "Student Concepts"
Mon 14th Sept: TY1 Geography Field Trip, Glendalough
Mon Sept 7th: Students will soon begin their GAISCE Presidents Award programme with visits to nursing homes in Athy, Carlow and Graiguecullen. 1st work experience week is from Oct 19 to Oct 23rd 2009. Many thanks to all the employers who accept one of our TY Students on a work experience placement. We’re very grateful to them all. The KAS programme, delivered by members of the Carlow and South Leinster Rape Criss Centre beginson Weds Sept 9th in the new Parish Centre in Graiguecullen.
