Knockbeg hosted an open track meet last Wednesday in the Watershed Kilkenny. Nine schools from counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois and Wexford took part. Knockbeg athletes competed well with winners in Oisin Hooney, Ballylinan, (800m), TJ Burke, Barrow House, (1k), Robert Crowley, Carlow (1k), Adam Feeny, Ballon, (100m) and the junior and senior 4x100 teams. 
With good weather and a great athmospere this was the perfect precursor to the track season.
