Best wishes to past pupil, Tom McLean, who has beenshortlisted for the prestigious Hennessy Portrait Prize. The competition aimsto encourage interest in contemporary portraiture. Tom is a recent graduate from the centre of the Creative Arts & Media at GMIT. His portrait, Waiting Room, depicts his studio partner, fellow artist and friend. The winning entrywill be included in the National Portrait Collection.
