COMBINED EVENTS 
Panel of 7 left Carlow at 7.30 on Wednesday morning for the Leinster schools combined events. All 7 acquitted themselves well over a long day and 5 events. Despite an off day in some areas Canice Whearty qualified in 4th for the All Ireland final. Vincent Hendricken finished an excellent 6th in the Intermediate age group. David McDonald finished 8th in Junior age group. With most of the team underage next year hopes would be high for an even bigger day next year! 

3 Counties League Day 2 

Knockbeg's 4 panels dominated the boys competition at day 2 of the 3 Counties League. Minor and Seniors teams winning their races and Juniors and Intermediates finishing strong seconds. All 4 teams are now right in contention for team titles at the final day on November 17. The format changes to a relay format. Minor and Senior teams both currently top their divisions. Great individual runs from Oisin Hooney 1st Minor, Tj Burke 3rd Junior, Cian Kelly 1st senior , Oran O Flaherty 3rd senior.
