For the first time since 2005 Knockbeg returned from South Leinster Cross Country championships with no trophy. Good individual performances included TJ Burke (10th Minor), Josh Lacey (3 Junior), Cormac O Brien (9 Junior), Cian Kelly (3 Inter), Jamie Wall (3 Senior) and Oran O Flaherty (4 Senior). The Intermediate team finished 3rd, led well by Cian Kelly in 3rd with good back up from Cialann Mulhall, Finbarr Kavanagh and Jack Lacey who all placed in the 20s.  These individuals along with the Intermediate team will go ahead to the Leinster championships on February 10th.
