Who are we?
We are a group of parents who meet on a regular basis to discuss aspects of school life and to see if we can provide an extra support for the staff and students alike.

What do we do?
We play an active role with regards to communicating with parents throughout the year on matters relating to school life and we are one of the channels that parents can use to receive information and influence some of the school activites.
How do we do it?
Last year some of our achievements included the following:
Playing an active role implementing a healthy eating policy within the School.
Fundraising was and continues to be a major role for the parents council an all funds raised are invested back into the college so that all our sons will benefit. Last year we supported the language departments with a €1500 bursary. We organised a 5k walk which raised €2730.In June we took part in the Dublin
mini marathon and raised over €2000 for the ASD unit (autisitic disorder unit].
Other roles include assisting staff with school functions i.e. parent’s day , graduation day etc. We also provide specialised talks for parents if requested which we are more than happy to facilitate.
This year we hope to continue and support all financial requests from the music and language departments but in particular we would like to focus on the science department which does require extensive equipment.
To facilitate this we are holding 2 x €5 Friday raffles, 1 at Christmas and 1 at Easter and we also sent out donation envelopes.
Why do we do it?
We do it because we want to create every opportunity for our sons in helping them reach their full potential in their academic lives.
We thank all of you who have supported us and we hope it continues into the future.
