Knockbeg did well at the last round of the 3 Counties cross country league last Thursday in Carlow Town hurling club.
The Minor team were involved in a titanic battle with Naas CBS and Gaelcholaiste Cill Dara all the way to the finish line. The team finished 3rd on the day and overall. The junior started the day in 4th and despite finishing 2nd in the relay couldn't undo the damage from the earlier rounds and finished 4th overall. The Intermediates finished 2nd on the day in the relay with Cian Kelly running what was surely the fastest leg of the day overall. The A team finished 3rd overall while the B team secured the Division 2 title. Finally our seniors completed a good overall win with victory in the relay. This was the 6th Knockbeg senior win in 8 years of the league.
The attention now turns to preparing for South Leinster in January.
