Junior Hurling:
Knockbeg junior hurlers opened their South Leinster campaign with a game against Carlow CBS last week. Knockbeg opened the scoring with points from Eanna Holland and Ronan Curran. They continued to dominate the first half and went in a half time with a lead of 3-6.
In the second half Knockbeg remained the stronger team, with good scores coming from Conor Nolan and Martin Maloney and with Eanna Holland accurate from frees. Carlow CBS replied with 4 points, three coming from play. In the end Knockbeg ran out convincing winners.
