Our 1st year footballers took part in the Carlow Schools blitz on Monday 21st September at Netwatch Centre of Excellence in Fenagh. Played in ideal conditions, Knockbeg were able to field three teams in the 15-a-side format, which catered for all students who trained since the beginning of the school year. 
Impressively, each team was competitive in their groups alongside the likes of Carlow CBS, Presentation College, Tullow CS, Pres De La Salle Bagenalstown, Gaelcholaiste, and Colaiste Eoin Hacketstown. The future looks promising.
